Children’s Liturgy of the Word will recommence this coming Sunday, 19 February. Reflecting the Liturgy of the Word that we celebrate together during the Mass, this ministry gives children the opportunity to actively participate in this part of the Mass at an age-appropriate level.
Leaving the church with a blessing from the celebrant, the children gather in a separate area to listen to the scriptures and spend time reflecting on what they have heard, sharing how it applies to them in everyday life.
Leaders of this ministry use the liturgical colours and symbols to encourage the children to prayerfully respond to the liturgy before returning to the church to re-join their family to celebrate the Eucharist.

Where: St Dominic’s Church, Innaloo
When: Each Sunday at 9.30 am Mass, during the school term
All children in pre-primary to year 4 are welcome to participate.
